The prices come from “most-favored-nation” (MFN) agreements the administration signed with drugmakers starting in late 2025. In exchange, participating companies were exempted from proposed pharmaceutical tariffs.

The site launched on February 5, 2026 with 43 brand-name drugs from five companies: AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, EMD Serono, Novo Nordisk and Pfizer. By May 5, 2026, 17 manufacturers had signed TrumpRx agreements, according to the Congressional Research Service.

The catalog has grown in two ways since launch:

• “Presidential deals” are brand-name drugs at negotiated MFN prices. NPR counted 92 of these by mid-July 2026.
• “Standard prices” are mostly generics, added on May 18, 2026 through partners such as Cost Plus Drugs and Amazon Pharmacy. The full list now tops 800 medications.

Two things drive what you actually pay. First, prices are set per form, strength and quantity, so the “starting at” figure usually applies only to the lowest dose. Second, there are two ways to redeem a price: a coupon you show at a participating retail pharmacy, or a manufacturer direct program such as LillyDirect, NovoCare or AstraZeneca Direct, which handles the order and delivery.

Trump Rx fertility drug prices are among the deepest cuts on the site, with EMD Serono’s IVF drugs listed up to 84% below list price. Because most insurance plans don’t cover IVF, these are the prices many patients actually pay.

Note that Amjevita, a Humira biosimilar, glp-1 med lists at about a third of Humira’s TrumpRx price. Ask your prescriber whether a biosimilar is right for you. For cancer drugs, also ask your oncology clinic about manufacturer patient-assistance programs, which may cost less than any cash price.

Trump Rx GLP-1 prices start at $149 a month for the oral pills and reach $499 a month for the highest-priced pens. That is roughly 55% to 89% below the list prices TrumpRx displays, which run from $649 to $1,349 a month. These prices trace to the November 6, 2025 agreements with Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk.

Three details matter more than the headline number:

1. The $199 introductory rate is temporary. It covers only the first two fills of the two starter strengths, for new self-pay patients, and the promotion is set to end December 31, 2026.
2. Your price rises as your dose rises. Most patients titrate up over several months, so the “starting at” price is not your long-term cost. A new Wegovy patient who stays at or below 2.4 mg pays about $3,888 in year one under current terms.
3. Pills are the cheapest entry point, but only at low strengths. Maintenance doses of the Wegovy and Ozempic pills cost $299.

The Trump Rx tirzepatide price is $299 to $449 a month for Zepbound and $499 a month for Mounjaro. Both drugs contain the same active ingredient, but Zepbound is approved for weight management and sleep apnea while Mounjaro is approved for type 2 diabetes. They are priced differently on TrumpRx.

What this means for your wallet:

• The vial and KwikPen cost the same at every dose. The vial page advertises up to 72% off and the KwikPen page up to 40% off only because each quotes a different reference price. Compare dollars, not percentages.
• Most patients end up at $449. Typical maintenance doses are 7.5 mg and above, so budget about $5,388 a year once titration is complete.
• Ordering goes through LillyDirect. TrumpRx does not run its own checkout for Zepbound or Mounjaro. It sends you to Lilly’s direct-to-patient platform, which handles the prescription and delivery.
• The KwikPen keeps more options open. It can be delivered or transferred to a retail pharmacy, while the vial is delivery only. The KwikPen is also the only Zepbound format covered by the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge (see eligibility below).

The Trump Rx Eliquis price is about $346 for a 30-day supply. That matches Eliquis’s current U.S. list price, which Bristol Myers Squibb and Pfizer cut by roughly 43% in January 2026, from about $606 a month.

Here is the honest picture, because Eliquis is where shoppers most often overpay:

• The $346 is not a special TrumpRx discount. NPR reported in July 2026 that Eliquis is not among the “presidential deal” drugs. The TrumpRx figure reflects the lowered list price that also applies through the manufacturers’ own Eliquis 360 direct program.
• Most insured patients pay far less. The manufacturer has long reported that the typical insured Eliquis patient pays under $50 a month, often with its co-pay card. Your plan’s number is the one to check.
• Medicare’s negotiated price is lower. Eliquis was one of the first drugs with a Medicare-negotiated price in 2026, set at $231 for a 30-day supply, according to Georgetown University’s Center on Health Insurance Reforms. TrumpRx purchases also do not count toward your Medicare deductible or out-of-pocket cap.
• There is no U.S. generic yet. Generic apixaban is FDA-approved, but patent settlements block U.S. sales until at least April 1, 2028.

Trump Rx prices are cheapest for brand-only drugs your insurance doesn’t cover, and often more expensive than a generic or a good copay. The “% off” numbers on the site compare against list prices, which most insured patients never pay.

When TrumpRx usually wins

• You are uninsured or your plan excludes the drug, which is common for weight-loss GLP-1s and fertility medications.
• The drug has no generic, such as Zepbound, Wegovy or Eliquis today.
• You are in a high-deductible plan and would otherwise pay the full list price at the counter.

When TrumpRx usually loses

• A generic exists. STAT and NPR both found TrumpRx brand listings where a generic costs far less. Protonix runs about $200 on TrumpRx while generic pantoprazole costs a few dollars at discount pharmacies. Januvia and Janumet, both presidential deals, now have generics too.

Who Qualifies for Trump Rx Prices?

You qualify for Trump Rx prices if you are a U.S. or U.S. territory resident, 18 or older, with a valid prescription, and you pay cash without billing insurance. The brand-name offers we reviewed also bar you from seeking reimbursement or applying the purchase to a deductible.

If you have Medicare or Medicaid: January 2026 guidance from the HHS Office of Inspector General allows manufacturers to sell directly to federal program enrollees in cash, as long as the drug is not billed to the program. Each offer sets its own terms, and some ask you to tell your Part D plan about the purchase.

Medicare.gov is explicit that TrumpRx and other discount cards are not creditable coverage and do not count toward your Medicare deductible or out-of-pocket maximum.

2. Get your insurance price first. Ask your pharmacy or insurer for your copay and whether it counts toward your deductible.
3. Search TrumpRx.gov and pick your exact strength. Only use the official .gov site. The per-dose price appears only after you select the strength.
